In a sustainable world:
How do you get your food? How do you get your food if you are not physically capable of growing it yourself?
How do you get to work? How do you get to work if you are not physically capable of riding a bike? Is there work for you?
Do you have a house? and apartment? a room in a building?
How many people are on the earth?
What do stores look like? Are individual items packaged and available or is everything 'in bulk' and behind a counter?
If the world was suddenly sustainable, what would be missing in your house?

How do we know aliens aren't communicating with ants (or other species) on Earth?
(in response to an interview on CBC radio - sorry, I forget the guy's name).
He said the aliens are probably so advanced they wouldn't bother to communicate with us. It would be like us trying to communicate with ants.
But
...if the aliens are advanced enough that they come and go on Earth without us being able to prove it,
then
they could very well have the ability to communicate with any species they want to.
It is human arrogance to assume they would communicate with us before they talked to ants.
Yeah, that's it! They think we're too arrogant so they'd rather talk to the species that will become the 'dominant' life-form after the ecological apocalypse we have created. Yeah, they are grooming the ants so that when they are species uno they won't wreck the Earth. Yup. Formicido-gaians.

A quick google of the term "humano-gaian" returned only my own profile here on gaia.com.
It appears I am the inventor of this term so I should try to define it.
History: I invented the term "humano-gaian" in 2000 to name one of my seven roles I defined in response to reading "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People". You can see that I have used it, and my other six roles, on a personal planner I invented for myself (bottom left of photo).
Definition: (attempt #1) an individual of the species Homo sapiens (currently living on Terra / Earth) aware to some degree of the ecological / biological interaction between themselves and the universe.
To me it means:
I recognize and acknowledge that I am one of the entities existing on Earth / Terra in an interactive relationship. Something like that.
. . . . . and more !

National Geographic, October 1990, page 86:
"In 1986 the number of sunspots reached a minimum, as predicted. Shortly after, there began a rapid increase in sunspots - greater than in any previous solar cycle of this century. Scientists expected the upturn to continue until the next peak in 1990 or '91, but an unforeseen hazard put the Solar Max project in peril.
"As the sun's activity increased, it warmed the outermost fringe of the earth's atmosphere slightly, causing it to expand. The added drag began to slow the satellite, and it dropped in its orbit by a few kilometers. Instead of circling the planet at least until 1991, Solar Max began tumbling in August 1989, and by early December ended its life as a fireball of blazing metal in the sky."
My questions are: Will global warming also expand the atmosphere? If so, what are the implications? Will / are the orbits of satellites affected? Will / is air pressure affected?
